No. The AI runs in your browser, so your product photos stay on your device.
How do I get the best result?
Use a plain background that is different in colour from your product, light it evenly, and keep the whole product in the frame. Shiny, transparent or very thin products are harder to cut out.
Which size should I use for my online shop?
Square images at 2000 px work well for most online shops and social media. Check your platform for its exact requirements.
Can I fix the edges?
For detailed touch-ups, use our free Background Remover, which has an erase and restore brush, and then send the image to the Design Studio.
Does it replace professional product photography?
It is a quick way to make clean images from good phone photos. For catalogues, packaging or print, professional photos and retouching will always give a better result.

The background removal uses the open-source ISNet model (DIS project, Apache 2.0 licence) running with ONNX Runtime Web (MIT licence). The model file is downloaded from Hugging Face the first time you use the tool; your photos are processed only in your browser.
