Questions, answered.
Is the print-ready PDF maker free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is made in your web browser, so your images stay on your device until you choose to send the file to us.
What is bleed and why do I need it?
Printers print on a slightly bigger sheet and cut it to size. Bleed is an extra 3 mm of image around the edge, so there is no thin white line if the cut moves a little. Switch it on whenever your design goes to the edge of the page.
What resolution do I need for printing?
About 300 DPI at the final size for sharp results. The print check shows green, amber or red for your image at the size you chose. If it is too low, choose a smaller size or enlarge the image first with our free Image Upscaler.
Can I put several business cards or labels on one sheet?
Yes. Switch on Several on one sheet and choose A4, A3 or SRA3. The tool fits as many copies as possible, turns them sideways if more fit, and adds crop marks around the sheet for cutting.
Which files can I use?
JPG, PNG and WebP images. You can add several images to make a multi-page PDF, one image per page. iPhone HEIC photos should be shared or saved as JPG first.
Can OA Design print it for me?
Yes. Send us your PDF on WhatsApp, by email or with the contact form. We check the file for free and reply with the paper, finish and details.
Want us to print it?
Business cards, flyers, posters, menus, stickers, labels and roll-up banners, printed for you in Malta.
Screens show colours in RGB and printers use CMYK, so very bright greens, blues and neon colours may print slightly duller. We always check files before printing.
